I grew up in Grant County with two parents and one sister. My dad is a retired teacher and my mom is a retired beautician.I married my husband, Joel, on June 24, 2006. We are proud parents of one daughter. Emma is now 7 months old.I have been teaching for 10 years at Gallatin County Elementary School.I love to cook and scrapbook. I like to experiment in the kitchen with food! Who knew that cooking was just like science?! I also love to sing. I collect Boyd's Bears, Christmas ornaments, and Gingerbread Men! Christmas is my favorite holiday and pink is my favorite color (but yellow makes me happy.)My favorite thing about being a teacher is when I get to see a smile stretch across the face of a student who finally "gets it" after struggling to understand something.
